2014 Logan Cabernet Merlot
Our eponymous Logan range features wines made exclusively from grapes grown in Orange, in some of the highest altitude vineyards in Australia. These high altitude vineyards bring much to the table, creating wines of restraint and elegance akin to European styles but always with Australian fruit character. The delicate embroidery on each of the labels in this range reflects the unique characteristics of each wine, depicting different branches, fruits and flowers. Each piece of embroidery took skill, patience and a little love to make, just like the wine inside each bottle.
The Logan 2014 Cabernet Merlot is a deep red colour with aromas of blackberry, violet, dark chocolate, rosemary and tobacco. These continue onto the round palate which also shows raspberry, thyme and fresh earth, soft tannins and a long finish. 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 13%Cabernet Franc.
