Made exclusively from grapes grown in Orange, in some of the highest altitude vineyards in Australia. The restraint and elegance feel European, the fruit character is distinctly Australian.

The delicate embroidery on the labels reflects the unique fruit flavours of each wine. Each one is lovingly and skillfully executed. Just like the wine.

Orange is one of the few areas in Australia suitable for truly classy, classic style sparkling wine. Grown at 930 metres above sea level, the ripening temperatures are similar to that of the sparkling region of France.

Logan Vintage 'M' Cuvée is made in the traditional method, and from the favourite French varieties of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier.

The Logan Vintage 'M' Cuvée is named in honour of Malcolm, Peter's father. Of all the wine styles, Mal loved bubbles the most.

Weemala is both an Aboriginal word for ‘good view’ and the name of the Logan vineyard in Mudgee. The little devils on the labels represent the local Mudgee birds that have too good a view of our vines in Mudgee and Orange.

'Druim nan deur' is Scottish Gaelic for 'Ridge of Tears', the old Logan clan war cry. It's an apt name for a wine that has aged this winemaker. Ridge of Tears showcases the quality and styles of Shiraz from Mudgee and Orange.

But it hasn't been easy.

Low yields for perfect balance and concentration, small batch fermentation, plunged by hand and basket pressed before mellowing in oak for 12-15 months. And now they're bottled, the tears are happy ones. Let the ageing begin.
